Idiopathic Retroperitoneal Fibrosis: When Appearances Deceive

Abstract
Retroperitoneal fibrosis constitutes a challenge in the differential diagnosis with other entities, due to its clinical presentation. The authors present a clinical case of idiopathic retroperitoneal fibrosis, which initially presented as unilateral obstructive uropathy, revealing the need for imaging tests at an early stage of the symptoms.
